Artist Statement 

Lindsey Machado is an interdisciplinary artist and educator based in San Francisco. She cultivates the idea of home and belonging as if she were tending to a garden–we are deeply rooted in the places we inhabit, nurturing and growing with the people we love. Her work takes the form of whimsical, surreal spaces and functional objects—tents, lamps, furniture, jewelry, and hardware—that invite interaction and reflection, offering a space to connect with the self and others.
